Would your organisation benefit from a team of skilled final year IT students improving your IT systems?
Monash University is once again partnering with VCOSS to provide an exciting opportunity for VCOSS member organisations looking to develop a tailored IT system in 2016.
Monash has been successfully running IT industry experience projects with small businesses for over 30 years, and more recently through VCOSS, with not-for-profit groups.
Successful applicants will work with the students on their projects over a full year. You will be required to meet with the students for 1-2 hours per week. This will mainly be face-to-face but can be via electronic means occasionally.
While the services of the IT student team are free, the organisation must plan to provide their time and are responsible for costs associated with hardware, software, internet service providers and post-project maintenance.
Want to get involved?
Attend the VCOSS – Monash Industry Experience Projects Information Session (compulsory) to get an overview of the projects and how to complete you application. You may want to start your application form using the sample given, and bring it along for discussion at the session.
