Community Seminar – Suicide Awareness Information Session
Understanding suicide, and unpacking common myths, may increase our ability to support a person that we believe may be at risk of suicide. This seminar offers an awareness information evening to raise a general awareness about suicide. It will provide an introduction to better understanding the risk factors which may indicate that a person may be at risk of suicide. During this interactive seminar, you will be invited to safely reflect on your attitudes about suicide and how these may help us assist someone at risk. There will be the opportunity to ask questions and to get to know services able to provide support and assistance.
