Property and Financial Matters is a two-day course designed specifically for those who work in mediation and family dispute resolution to better equip themselves to resolve disputes around property and financial matters.

It provides a solid base in both the theory and practice of financial mediation. Based on adult learning principles, participants undertake interactive exercises from which practical and valuable feedback is given by our trainers to ensure development of skills.

As with mediation principles, the strategies and techniques used in the specialised field of mediating financial matters must build positive, practical and sustainable outcomes for families and children.

Presenter
Kim Fraser is a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Financial Counsellor and Trainer and with over 27 years’ experience. Kim has a particular interest in mediating property matters to help parents make sense of legal advice and property settlements post separation. She was one of 50 international delegates invited to attend the International Symposium on Child Support in 2013 which brought together Australia’s leading researchers and practitioners. Kim has delivered many workshops and courses including conflict and communication and mediating financial matters.​
