Mentor staff to increase performance and build talent
Coaching is being used by many forward thinking organisations as a way to increase performance and built talent from within. This interactive three hour workshop will provide those in line management positions (eg team leaders, managers) with the necessary skills to mentor staff in achieving and recognising their workplace competencies.
At the end of the workshop participants will have:
Identified principles and methods of performance coaching
Learnt ways to empower staff to identify their strengths and challenges
Understood how to adapt their coaching style to individual personalities and learning styles
Applied a goal focused approach to coaching
Understood how the brain responds in workplace settings
Practiced coaching skills to enhance learning
Karen Morris is a Counsellor, Supervisor and Trainer with over 30 years’ experience in clinical and operational management. She has served as a CEO in the not-for-profit sector and developed a range of evidence-based programs and services including work with disadvantaged and disenfranchised clients. Karen’s passion is clinical work, and has developed cutting edge programs and resources for both adults and children. Her key areas of expertise and interest are relationship counselling, supervision, working with children and management coaching. Karen currently holds the position of Principal Practitioner at FMC Relationship Services Victoria, and is also a Director at People Potential Group, a private consultancy providing services in Clinical Supervision, Staff Coaching, and Professional Development.
